About the Role

As an OTR Owner Operator with House of Trucking, you'll run long-haul freight while keeping 90% of each load. Drivers average roughly 3,000 miles per week and earn weekly pay covering a Monday-through-Sunday cycle, settled each Friday. This is a full-time position based out of Waxhaw, designed for self-directed professionals who value independence on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate your own truck on over-the-road (OTR) freight lanes with no truck restrictions.
• Plan and maintain your own driving schedule and home time.
• Deliver loads safely and on time while meeting carrier compliance standards.
• Use Samsara ELD equipment, including a front-facing camera, for hours-of-service and safety tracking.
• Maintain clean inspection records to qualify for the $150 Safety and Clean Inspection Bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL and active owner operator authority with your own qualified tractor.
• Proven over-the-road driving experience and a strong safety record.
• Ability to complete a pre-orientation drug test, which may be done at any approved location before orientation.
• Willingness to run an average of about 3,000 miles weekly.
• Comfort with phone- and online-based orientation, which can be scheduled on any day.
