About the Role
SUNMOON TRANSPORTATION LLC is hiring a solo OTR Class A Reefer driver for over-the-road refrigerated hauls. This is a 1099 contract position offering competitive compensation, recently updated trucks, and steady miles, with around-the-clock dispatch support keeping you moving every day you're on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A vehicle safely on long-haul, over-the-road refrigerated (reefer) routes.
- Run consistent weekly mileage in the range of roughly 3,000 to 3,500 miles.
- Manage line-haul freight without driver load or unload duties.
- Maintain communication with the 24/7 dispatch team throughout each trip.
- Complete extended runs of approximately four weeks out, with flexibility to stay on the road longer if you choose.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Experience handling OTR and refrigerated/reefer freight.
- Comfortable working as a solo, independent 1099 contract driver.
- Willingness to commit to longer over-the-road cycles before scheduled home time.
- Strong safety record and reliable, professional work habits.
