About the Role

As a Class A Contract Driver (1099) with YONAS LLC, you'll run solo over-the-road routes pulling a dry van out of Camarillo, Ventura County. Expect roughly 2,000 to 3,000 miles each week with no driver load or unload responsibilities, letting you stay focused on safe, efficient driving. Average gross pay ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 per week as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer hauling dry van freight on over-the-road (OTR) lanes
• Cover an average of 2,000 to 3,000 miles per week as a solo contract driver
• Maintain safe, on-time deliveries while complying with all DOT and federal driving regulations
• Manage standard trip planning, inspections, and required logs (no driver load/unload required)
• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor representing YONAS LLC professionally on the road

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• No restrictions for (L, Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, or (O) No Semi-Trailer
• Willingness to stay out approximately 14 days at a time on OTR runs
• Comfortable working independently as a solo 1099 contract driver

Home Time & Schedule

• Earn 2 days of home time for every 14 days worked
• Home at least 2 weekends each month
• Roughly 14 expected days out per OTR cycle
