Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis of eye conditions
• Fitting and prescribing corrective lenses and contact lenses
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical histories
• Providing advice on visual care, including the use of innovative equipment
• Engaging with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout appointments

Requirements

• A current registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
• Demonstrable experience in optometry or a relevant field
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own caseload
• Patient-focused approach with an emphasis on high-quality care
