The Opportunity

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated and efficient Online Picker for their newly established Kensington Square - Durban North store. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining the effectiveness of the Click and Collect System by ensuring accurate and timely stock picking, packing, and dispatch.

Core Duties

• Pick and pack items from the online store inventory according to customer orders
• Ensure all picked items are correctly labeled and packaged in accordance with Dis-Chem's standard operational procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient picking area at all times
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and meet daily targets
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene while handling stock

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required by the job
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with simple software applications for order processing
