Ford Motor Company is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse for supplemental (PRN-part-time) work at our Kansas City, Jackson County manufacturing facility. About the Role
As an Occupational Health Nurse serving in a supplemental capacity, you'll provide on-demand healthcare services in a manufacturing setting. You'll work directly with plant employees to deliver preventive care, respond to workplace health concerns, and contribute to our culture of safety and wellness. This position offers scheduling flexibility through our PRN structure, allowing you to build your nursing career while maintaining work-life balance.
What You'll Do
- Assist physicians with physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment administration
- Deliver basic medical care with accuracy and close attention to detail
- Support workplace health screenings and employee health maintenance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and safety standards
- Help administer company health and safety policies across the facility
- Document patient interactions and maintain confidential health records
- Respond promptly to workplace health emergencies and employee injuries
What We're Looking For
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Experience in occupational health, plant nursing, or comparable clinical settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying plant scheduling needs
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and occupational safety best practices
- Commitment to following medical protocols and regulatory requirements
