Montessori Primary Lead Guide – SY2026-2027

Shining Star Pcs seeks a dedicated Montessori Primary Lead Guide to nurture and educate students in grades PreK3 through Kindergarten (ages 3–5) for the 2026–2027 school year in Avondale, Prince George's County. This is a full-time, 10-month position within our accredited public charter Montessori school community.

About the Role

As a Montessori Primary Lead Guide at Shining Star Pcs, you'll create and maintain a prepared learning environment where young children develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Working within an accredited charter school setting, you'll lead small-group and individualized learning experiences aligned with authentic Montessori pedagogy, fostering each child's natural curiosity and developmental pace.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain a Montessori-inspired classroom environment that invites exploration and self-directed activity
• Observe and assess each child's developmental progress to guide personalized learning experiences
• Facilitate practical life, sensorial, and academic Montessori activities appropriate to each developmental stage
• Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication about their child's growth and learning
• Collaborate with colleagues within our professional learning community to support school-wide excellence
• Maintain records and contribute to the school's commitment to accreditation standards
