Role Overview
As a Moniteur Educateur / Educateur Specialise with Addsea in Autrey-lès-Gray near Vesoul, you join the work of Le Foyer Comtois. The setting receives children from 7 to 18 years into residential boarding house arrangements and delivers educational plus social accompaniment tailored to each individual’s requirements. Young residents live across two separate living units, and each unit benefits from its own dedicated educational team. The structure additionally oversees a placement service with host families as well as a graduated semi-autonomy arrangement that helps older adolescents progress toward greater self-reliance.
Core Duties
- Supply educational and social accompaniment carefully matched to the distinct needs of every child
- Work day by day inside one of the two living units as a full member of its dedicated educational team
- Contribute to a stable, constructive residential climate for the young people above 7 years of age
- Assist with the operation of the host-family placement service
- Support the practical delivery of the semi-autonomy arrangement for older residents
- Help shape and follow individual pathways that advance each youngster’s growth, learning and well-being
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional grounding appropriate for the Moniteur Educateur / Educateur Specialise function
- Ability to adapt educational and social methods to the varied needs of children and adolescents aged 7–18
- Demonstrated competence working inside a multi-colleague educational team assigned to a living unit
- Strong relational and communication skills for engaging with young people, colleagues and host families
