The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Mill Hand (Loader) to join our team at Baiada Group in The Hill, Newcastle, Australia. As a key member of the production line, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient loading operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Your Responsibilities
- Load raw materials into processing machines accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor promptly
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents on the job site
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth production flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license required for transportation duties (if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial but not mandatory
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical condition, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy materials
