About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist with LifeStance Health, you'll work in our Boston, Massachusetts location serving patients across the lifespan. You'll conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy using proven therapeutic modalities. Your work directly impacts access to quality mental healthcare in our community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and mental health evaluations
- Deliver individual psychotherapy and counseling to patients with diverse clinical presentations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with patient goals
- Maintain complete, accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other care team members to ensure coordinated treatment
- Monitor patient progress and adjust clinical interventions as needed
- Support patients in accessing community resources and social services
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid state license as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health treatment and counseling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
