Position Summary

The Men's and Women's Tennis Graduate Assistant at PeopleAdmin will play a crucial role in recruiting talented student-athletes for the NCC Tennis program. This position involves traveling to high school, USTA events, and other tennis competitions to identify potential recruits who embody both academic excellence and athletic prowess. The assistant will also contribute to coaching responsibilities during group practices, individual sessions, and team matches.

Core Duties

• Recruit academically and athletically capable student-athletes for the NCC Tennis program
• Mold the culture of NCC Tennis through mentorship and guidance
• Travel to high school, USTA events, and other tennis competitions to identify prospective student-athletes
• Assist in coaching during group practices, individual sessions, and team matches and events
• Perform racquet stringing and minor court and facility maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

• A strong passion for tennis and a commitment to student-athlete development
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in coaching or playing tennis at the collegiate level is preferred but not required
• A proven ability to recruit and retain high-caliber student-athletes
• Ability to travel for recruitment events as needed
