About This Position

Cleanaway is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team based in Holtze, NT. As part of the fleet maintenance department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, trailers, and mobile equipment. The role offers a permanent part-time position with opportunities for overtime work and a $5K sign-on bonus along with quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Diagnose and repair heavy vehicles, trailers, and mobile equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Work collaboratively with other mechanics to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in the fleet maintenance industry
• Australian Heavy RPL (Relevant Practical Experience) or equivalent qualification
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
