What This Role Involves

The Meat Production Associate at US Foods, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of beef and pork products for our esteemed customers. Your Responsibilities

• Perform detailed meat inspection and selection based on quality standards
• Age beef according to precise protocols to enhance flavor and texture
• Trim and prepare cuts of meat with precision, ensuring consistency in size and presentation

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in meat production or related field is preferred, though not required
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in handling and preparing meats
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a focus on quality over quantity
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with chefs and other team members
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, lifting, and precise cutting
