About the Role

As a Meat Cutter II, you'll manage our meat department's daily operations, ensuring fresh, properly prepared cuts meet company standards and customer expectations. What You'll Do

• Cut, trim, and package fresh meat products following Save A Lot standards and the Meat Cutter Resource Manual
• Create attractive meat displays that showcase quality and maximize customer purchases
• Operate meat cutting equipment safely while maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation
• Provide knowledgeable customer service, assisting customers with meat selection and special requests
• Manage inventory, stock shelves, and rotate products according to company procedures
• Maintain strict compliance with all food safety regulations and health department standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a meat cutter or in a meat department role
• Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, and quality standards
• Proficiency operating meat saws, grinders, and other cutting equipment
• Strong commitment to food safety, sanitation, and company standards
