What This Role Involves
A large and inclusive regional secondary college in East Gippsland is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its team. This is a full-time, ongoing position with the opportunity to start as early as Term 3, 2025 or by negotiation.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mathematics education to students in line with Victorian Government Schools Agreement standards.
- Create and maintain engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and support the overall school community.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, preferably with additional qualifications in education.
- Proven experience as a mathematics teacher in secondary schools is highly desirable.
- PASSION for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
