What This Role Involves

The Materials Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality of materials used in our manufacturing processes. This role involves working with various testing equipment and maintaining accurate records of test results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting physical, chemical, and mechanical tests on raw materials and finished products
• Maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Preparing samples for testing and recording detailed data
• Collaborating with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve issues in material quality
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in materials science, chemistry, or a related field
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting is preferred
