About This Position

Reporting to a Trading Manager, the Associate Trader contributes to engaging Fanatics Betting & Gaming patrons through thoughtful analysis, event oversight, and platform evaluation. Expect an average of 20–25 hours weekly with flexibility for additional time as needed, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. The position is located in the Denver, USA office. The hourly pay for this role is $30.00 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle duties within an assigned segment of the trading group such as building odds, overseeing live events, tracking wagers, revising pricing, and reviewing client activity.
• Participate in evaluating innovative sportsbook tools and pricing frameworks while sharing observations and coordinating with colleagues.
• Help drive ongoing process upgrades across trading by supporting automation initiatives and highlighting pathways for progress.
• Collaborate with fellow junior trading colleagues to exchange insights and foster their professional growth.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, product, engineering, and operations functions to design and deliver a superior, intuitive, and expandable wagering product shaped by analytics, audience insights, and competitive reviews.
• Keep fans central to every trading approach.
• Provide assistance to neighboring groups inside the department whenever required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in hand or currently pursued.
• One to three years of background in comparable positions.
• Genuine enthusiasm for athletics paired with natural insight into how fans seek entertainment.
• Skill at making sense of information and converting it into probability estimates.
• Capacity to evaluate sportsbook systems while advancing understanding of statistical odds and strategic game concepts.
• Attraction to an entrepreneurial, fast-scaling setting where choices move quickly.
• Collaborative mindset ready to complete essential work and interact smoothly across Fanatics Betting & Gaming units as well as the wider organization.
• Readiness to pose inquiries, absorb new ideas, and apply strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to maintain a flexible timetable that routinely covers evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Comfort with an expected average week of 20–25 hours plus room for extra hours when necessary.
• Availability to work from the Denver office location.
