About the Role
We are seeking a Operations Manager to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of the operations management group, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the global movement of food from farm to table.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of temperature-controlled facilities in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide)
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including procurement, maintenance, and customer service
- Manage budgets and financial performance of the operations team
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead change initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with temperature-controlled storage and transportation operations is preferred
- Australian or New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) residency required due to employment restrictions
