About the Role
Founded in 1975, CONAM Management operates throughout 10 states across 26 major metropolitan markets, managing over 60,000 apartment units in both affordable and conventional communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to provide essential maintenance services at our Sacramento location. As part of our maintenance team of dedicated professionals, you'll help ensure our residents live in safe, well-maintained homes.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential units and common areas
- Respond to work orders and tenant maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Execute repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general building systems
- Troubleshoot building system issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and work completed
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company maintenance protocols
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience in residential or commercial facility maintenance
- Working knowledge of building systems and common repair techniques
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled
