Maintenance Technician

National Community Renaissance is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in Mar Vista, Los Angeles County. Join our team to keep our community property in excellent condition, supporting both our residents and management operations.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work under the direction of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure our property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. Your efforts directly contribute to resident satisfaction and community pride, supporting our mission to provide quality housing and community services.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential units and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and management in a timely manner
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, and exterior spaces to company standards
• Keep the property clean and organized to support high occupancy and resident retention
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectively
• Document maintenance work completed and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Coordinate with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies in daily work

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in property maintenance, facilities, or similar field
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy items, and work at heights
