The Opportunity
Aldridge Pite LLP is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the legal support staff, you will play an integral role in assisting with various litigation matters, including document management, case preparation, and client communication. This position offers hybrid or remote work options, providing flexibility while ensuring seamless collaboration within the firm.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing documents, pleadings, and discovery materials
- Prepare and maintain detailed case files and records in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with clients to manage their expectations and provide updates on the status of their cases
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient case management
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and filing
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with legal software applications
- Possess excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently while also being a team player
- Background check and drug screen required for employment
