What This Role Involves

The Cardiac Sonographer Level I at UCHealth in Loveland, Colorado, is responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations. This role involves working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely patient care. The position requires a strong focus on patient safety and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality echocardiographic examinations for patients of all ages, including adult and pediatric populations.
• Assisting cardiologists with diagnostic procedures and interventions as needed.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with new technologies and techniques in cardiac sonography.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited program in cardiovascular sonography. Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) is required. Experience in echocardiography is preferred, but not mandatory.
