Position Summary

The Department for Education, South Australia is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing Leader to join the team at Murray Bridge North School. This role will commence on 24/08/2026 with a tenure until 23/01/2030. The position is full-time and based in Renmark West, Renmark Paringa.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Student Wellbeing program to ensure the emotional, social, and physical health of students is prioritized.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement evidence-based practices that support student learning and well-being.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance the school's overall support network for students.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Student Wellbeing initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role within an educational setting, preferably with a focus on student wellbeing.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective Student Wellbeing programs that have positively impacted students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, parents, and the broader community.
• A commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in education and student support services.
