About the Role
As a Lead Sales Associate at our Allen store, you'll combine hands-on sales floor expertise with team supervision responsibilities. You'll report to the Store Manager and serve as the bridge between frontline associates and management, ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining our commitment to customer service excellence.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and mentor sales associates on the store floor, providing guidance on customer service and sales techniques
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and completing purchases across our diverse inventory
- Maintain store standards including merchandising, cleanliness, and product organization
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock rotation and placement
- Handle cash management and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and accountability
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Support loss prevention and store security protocols
- Collaborate with the management team on achieving store goals and metrics
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven retail or customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented work approach
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise regularly
- Willingness to learn our systems and processes quickly
