KidsWorld Connections Coordinator

Christ Community Church is seeking a dedicated KidsWorld Connections Coordinator to lead our children's ministry welcoming efforts in South Elgin. In this full-time position, you'll create a warm, inclusive environment for first-time families and help build lasting connections within our church community.

About the Role

The KidsWorld Connections Coordinator plays a vital role in our children's ministry by focusing on hospitality, family engagement, and community building. You'll be the friendly face that greets new families, removes barriers to involvement, and nurtures their journey from first-time visitors to active, connected members of Christ Community Church.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and register first-time families attending weekend services and special events
• Create a warm, inviting environment that makes new guests feel valued and comfortable
• Follow up with new families to answer questions and encourage ongoing involvement
• Coordinate volunteers and organize check-in systems for children's ministry programs
• Help families understand and access available ministry programs and activities
• Build relationships and remove obstacles to deeper engagement in the church community
• Maintain records and communicate attendance and visitor information with ministry leadership

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience in hospitality, ministry, customer service, or community engagement (preferred)
• Commitment to Christ Community Church's mission and values
• Reliability and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to build meaningful relationships quickly
