About This Position
Three fixed-term, part-time Kaiāwhina positions are available at TWoA in Te Anau and Winton. The roles require working on Wednesday mornings in Te Anau and Wednesday evenings in Te Anau, as well as Tuesday evenings in Winton.
Your Responsibilities
- Support tauira (students) with their educational needs and personal development.
- Facilitate a learning environment that aligns with Māori culture and values.
- Contribute to the overall mission of ‘tauira success’ and ‘whānau transformation through education’.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who embody our values, including a strong commitment to Māori culture and education. Successful candidates will have experience working in a kaupapa Māori setting or with Māori communities, as well as excellent communication skills.
