The Opportunity

WIN Television Network is seeking a talented and experienced journalist to join our team in the Central West Area of Central Queensland. As part of Australia's largest commercial television network, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality news and entertainment content that resonates with our audience.

• Collaborate with producers, editors, and other journalists to create engaging and informative stories
• Conduct interviews and gather information from various sources
• Write, edit, and produce news articles, features, and reports for broadcast and online platforms
• Ensure accuracy, fairness, and balance in all content produced

Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to contribute to the daily operations of WIN TV by producing high-quality journalism. This includes:

• Gathering news stories from a variety of sources
• Writing and editing articles for broadcast and online platforms
• Conducting interviews with local personalities, politicians, and community members
• Ensuring all content adheres to WIN TV's editorial standards and policies

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a journalist who has:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in journalism, preferably within the television industry
• A strong understanding of news values and journalistic ethics
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with broadcast journalism practices and procedures
