About the Role

As the International Tax Manager/Director, you will own the leadership and oversight of the international income tax operations for Berkshire Hathaway Energy and its family of subsidiaries. Based on-site in Des Moines, this full-time position ensures that all reporting tied to foreign operations is precise, complete, and delivered on schedule across every applicable jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the international income tax function for Berkshire Hathaway Energy and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of income, credits, and related items connected to foreign operations.
• Oversee federal, state, and local income tax obligations, including withholding tax matters.
• Prepare and review information returns associated with international activities.
• Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise on cross-border tax issues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing international or corporate income tax functions.
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax, withholding tax, and information return requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, set direction, and deliver accurate reporting under deadlines.
• Analytical, detail-oriented approach to complex multinational tax matters.
