About This Position

Fresh Flourish Mental Health is seeking an experienced Internal Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist to own the practice's full-cycle revenue cycle management. This role involves charge capture and check-in, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, AR follow-up, and patient collections. The ideal candidate should be fluent in behavioral health billing processes, as this is a key requirement given the nature of the practice. Additionally, the position requires independent Medicare Part B claims processing from day one without an internal mentor.

Responsibilities

• Owning the full revenue cycle for the practice, including charge entry, check-in, claim creation, submission, payment posting, and AR workflows.
• Reviewing claims for accuracy to identify billing issues prior to submission.
• Investigating and resolving claim rejections and denials.
• Providing exceptional customer service directly with patients and families.
• Collaborating closely with the Practice Manager and CEO, Dr. Bryant, who runs a weekly billing meeting and expects clear, accurate reporting.

What We're Looking For

• An experienced, highly organized, and patient-focused Internal Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist.
• A deep understanding of behavioral health coding and payer processes.
• The ability to work independently on Medicare Part B claims from day one.
• Comfort in working both behind the scenes on billing operations and directly with patients and families.
