Role Overview

The Internal Audit & Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring the integrity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the company's Operational Systems, Internal Control Environment, and Quality Management System (QMS). The role supports management through ensuring that operational processes are followed, risks are identified and mitigated, and compliance with regulatory requirements is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of internal controls across all business units to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits to identify areas for improvement in operational processes and control environments.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of internal controls with organizational goals and objectives.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal audit and quality assurance roles within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various levels of management.
• A proven track record in implementing process improvements and enhancing control environments.
