The Insurance/CTP lawyer opening in The Rocks, Sydney, Australia, Australia centres on compulsory third-party motor claims and broader insurance work inside a progressive national practice. You will handle files at associate level after roughly two years’ experience, contributing to a team that values clever strategy, technology-enabled workflows and clear client outcomes while maintaining healthy work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of CTP and insurance matters from first instructions to settlement or hearing
• Advise clients on liability, quantum and options available under NSW statutory schemes
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, evidence statements and settlement documentation
• Negotiate with insurers, funds and opposing solicitors to achieve timely resolutions
• Appear at mediations, directions hearings and other interlocutory listings as required
• Coordinate with medical experts, investigators and counsel on complex files
• Keep accurate online matter records and ensure full regulatory compliance

Who We're Looking For

• Approximately two years of associate-level experience in a relevant legal practice
• Familiarity with insurance, personal-injury or CTP claim handling
• Clear written and oral advocacy abilities together with sound commercial judgement
• Capacity to prioritise multiple files and meet court and client deadlines
• Plaintiff-side background expressly welcomed
• Collaborative mindset suited to a progressive national firm environment
