As an Industrial Services Technician II at Calista Brice, you'll assist the lead Conveyor Belt Splicer in delivering reliable belt systems and mechanical solutions to our clients. Working under the direction of the Industrial Services General Foreman, you'll contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems that are essential to industrial operations. Your role ensures that material handling and process systems operate safely, efficiently, and dependably.
What You'll Do
- Support the lead Conveyor Belt Splicer in belt installation, maintenance, and repair operations
- Perform vulcanized and mechanical splicing tasks on conveyor belts and related equipment
- Assist with the setup and configuration of material handling systems at client facilities
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with the Industrial Services General Foreman and team members to complete projects on schedule
- Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving equipment performance issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work
What We're Looking For
- Experience or demonstrated aptitude for industrial equipment installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, belt splicing, or similar mechanical work
- Strong attention to safety and ability to work carefully with industrial equipment
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and work in various industrial settings
- Reliability and willingness to learn and develop new skills
