About This Position
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Senior to join our team based in Cheltenham. As an Indirect Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, customs duties, and other applicable indirect taxes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, customs duties, and other applicable indirect taxes.
- Prepare, review, and file accurate and timely tax returns and reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to the team on complex tax issues and ensure consistency in tax practices.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of tax processes to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in indirect tax, with a strong focus on VAT, GST, and customs duties.
- Excellent knowledge of local, national, and international tax regulations.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in using indirect tax software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
