In-Home Caregiver Wanted – Franklin, VA

AmeriCare Plus is hiring an In-Home Caregiver to deliver compassionate personal care services to clients throughout Franklin, Virginia. About the Role

As an In-Home Caregiver with AmeriCare Plus, you'll become a trusted member of the care team, supporting clients to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in their own homes. This position requires hands-on assistance with personal care, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to client well-being.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help with safe mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injury
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable home environments
• Monitor and report on client health status, behavior changes, and care needs to supervisors
• Build supportive, respectful relationships that promote client confidence and autonomy
• Document care activities and maintain accurate care records
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care coordination team

What We're Looking For

• Valid CNA, PCA, or Nursing Assistant certification (or commitment to obtaining)
• Previous experience in home care, personal assistance, or related caregiving roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Physical capacity to safely assist and lift clients
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• CPR certification is preferred
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on assigned client locations
