AMIkids Careers is hiring a full-time Human Service Professional (Intensive Services) at AMIkids Aspen in Harbison, Lexington County, to support and empower at-risk youth working to rebuild their futures.

About the Role

As a Human Service Professional (HSP) with AMIkids Aspen in Harbison, Lexington County, you will evaluate, assess, and provide direct care to young people enrolled in our intensive services program. This on-site, full-time position places you at the heart of a mission-driven team committed to guiding youth — many of whom have struggled in school or become involved with the legal system — toward lasting, positive change.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to understand each young person's individual needs and strengths.
• Deliver attentive, day-to-day care for youth participating in intensive services.
• Encourage and reinforce positive behavioral changes and personal growth.
• Collaborate with program staff to support each youth's progress and well-being.
• Document observations, progress, and care activities accurately and consistently.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to helping young people change the direction of their lives.
• Strong interpersonal, observation, and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the resilience to work with youth facing significant challenges.
• Ability to work on-site, full-time, in Harbison, Lexington County (this role is not remote).
