Human Resources Business Partner – North America

NSF is hiring a full-time Human Resources Business Partner – North America to join its team in Dixboro, Washtenaw County, Michigan — a strategic role built for an HR professional who thrives at the intersection of people and organizational performance.

About the Role

As an HRBP for North America, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers across the region, translating business priorities into workforce strategies that drive both near-term results and sustainable long-term growth. This is a high-impact position for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR execution.

What You'll Do

• Partner with senior managers and business leaders across North America to align talent strategies with organizational goals
• Consult on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives
• Guide leaders through performance management cycles, including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning
• Support employee relations matters with sound judgment and a consistent application of HR policy
• Identify capability gaps and collaborate with L&D teams to address them through targeted development programs
• Interpret and apply employment law and company policy across multiple US and North American jurisdictions
• Use HR data and people analytics to surface trends and recommend proactive solutions
• Drive engagement, retention, and culture initiatives in close partnership with leadership

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable strategic HR role, ideally supporting a North American client group
• Strong consulting and influencing skills — able to build credibility with senior stakeholders quickly
• Solid grounding in core HR disciplines: talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
• Working knowledge of US employment law; familiarity with Canadian employment standards is a plus
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and operating in a matrixed, multi-site environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
