Housing Program Manager- HUD Certified

YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a HUD Certified Housing Program Manager to lead its Housing & Financial Inclusion work in Jackson Park, Cook County. This full-time, exempt position drives programming that advances economic empowerment and stable housing across the communities the YWCA serves.

About the Role

As the Housing Program Manager — HUD Certified, you will guide the YWCA's Housing Program within the Economic Empowerment department, ensuring services align with the organization's mission to expand financial inclusion and housing stability. Based in Jackson Park, Cook County, this is an on-site leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Economic Empowerment Officer and overseeing the Housing and Financial Inclusion staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the Housing Program in support of the YWCA's core economic empowerment goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop members of the Housing and Financial Inclusion team.
• Coordinate housing counseling and related services in accordance with HUD certification standards.
• Partner with the Chief Economic Empowerment Officer to shape program strategy, priorities, and outcomes.
• Strengthen program quality, compliance, and reporting across the Housing & Financial Inclusion portfolio.

Qualifications

• Active HUD certification for housing counseling or program management.
• Experience leading housing, financial inclusion, or related community programs.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage program operations.
• Strong commitment to economic empowerment and the populations the YWCA serves.
• Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
