Position Summary

The Homes Project Manager - Central Renovations Team owns day-to-day execution of residential renovation workstreams in and around Tempe, AZ. In this full-time position you will plan scopes, oversee field progress, align vendors and trades, and ensure completed homes meet defined quality and timeline expectations. Success means clear communication, organized documentation, and reliable handoffs across internal partners and external partners supporting the Central Renovations Team.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and manage residential renovation projects from kickoff through completion, including scope definition, sequencing, and schedule ownership for homes in the Tempe area.
• Coordinate contractors, trades, and vendors so work is sequenced correctly, materials arrive when needed, and site access issues are resolved quickly.
• Conduct walkthroughs and quality checks during active renovations, document punch items, and drive issues to closure before closeout.
• Track project status, surfacing delays or cost risks early and adjusting plans with stakeholders to protect outcomes for the Central Renovations Team.
• Maintain accurate project records, including photos, change notes, schedules, and handoff materials for downstream teams.
• Communicate progress and decisions clearly to internal partners so expectations stay aligned throughout the renovation lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of renovation processes by sharing field insights that improve reliability for future Homes Project Manager work.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing residential renovation, construction, or facilities projects, ideally as a project manager or similar title focused on homes.
• Ability to read scopes, basic plans, and work orders and translate them into actionable field plans.
• Strong vendor and trade coordination skills, including holding partners accountable to schedule and quality standards.
• Comfort conducting site inspections, spotting workmanship issues, and enforcing completion standards.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for daily updates with field teams and office stakeholders.
• Organized approach to timelines, documentation, and multi-project prioritization in a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to work on site in Tempe, AZ as needed; this Homes Project Manager - Central Renovations Team role is not remote.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites in the local Tempe market as project needs require.
