About the Role
Provide direct, compassionate personal care to clients living independently in their homes throughout Rensselaer County. You'll build meaningful relationships while supporting clients' dignity and independence in their daily routines.
What You'll Do
- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support safe mobility, transferring, and positioning
- Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional encouragement
- Monitor and communicate changes in client health or well-being
- Document care activities and maintain accurate records
- Respect client privacy, preferences, and autonomy
What We're Looking For
- Active New York State PCA or HHA certification
- Genuine compassion for supporting vulnerable adults
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently
