About the Role

As a Principal or Master Technical Specialist focused on chemistry development for 3D DRAM wet etch, you'll own the technical strategy and execution of novel chemistry platforms that push the boundaries of memory scaling and device performance. This is a full-time position where your expertise directly impacts production efficiency, yield optimization, and the company's competitive advantage in high-density memory technology.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and validate advanced wet etch chemistry formulations for 3D DRAM device architectures
  • Establish process windows and selectivity targets that balance etch rate, uniformity, and device integrity
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on process excursions and implement corrective chemistry adjustments
  • Partner with device engineering, materials science, and manufacturing teams to transition chemistry innovations into production
  • Mentor engineering teams and share technical leadership on complex chemistry challenges
  • Manage experimental programs, document findings, and communicate results to senior leadership
  • Stay current with semiconductor wet etch literature and emerging chemistry technologies

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive hands-on experience in wet etch process chemistry or plasma chemistry for semiconductor manufacturing
  • Deep knowledge of 3D NAND, 3D DRAM, or advanced memory device etch requirements
  • Track record developing and qualifying new chemistry platforms in a production environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work through complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
