Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated full-time Home Hardlines/Clerk to join our Newport, Lincoln County store. In this position, you'll combine customer service excellence with merchandising expertise to create an inviting shopping environment that drives sales and customer loyalty.

About the Role

As a Home Hardlines/Clerk, you'll play a key role in one of our store's most visible departments. Working full-time, you'll be responsible for stocking, displaying, and maintaining home goods and general merchandise while delivering outstanding service to every customer who walks through our doors. You'll collaborate closely with your department manager to meet sales targets and profitability goals, ensuring our inventory is well-organized, accessible, and presented at its best. Your dedication to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shopping environment will directly impact customer satisfaction and repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and displays with home hardlines merchandise, using proper techniques and attention to shelf organization
• Create attractive, eye-catching displays that highlight products and encourage customer purchases
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, and questions about home goods and general merchandise
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized department throughout your shift
• Support the department manager in achieving sales and profit objectives
• Monitor product quality and ensure all items meet company standards
• Embrace and promote our Customer 1st strategy in every customer interaction
