About the Role

As a Helicopter Pilot with Med-Trans Corporation, you'll operate advanced aircraft to transport critically ill and injured patients to medical facilities across New Mexico. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in high-stakes medical aviation, where precision, reliability, and quick decision-making are essential to saving lives.

What You'll Do

• Pilot helicopter medical transport missions throughout our service area
• Maintain peak aircraft readiness and safety compliance standards
• Coordinate with medical crew, ground teams, and receiving hospitals for efficient patient transfers
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and post-flight assessments
• Operate in diverse weather and terrain conditions while prioritizing patient and crew safety
• Document flight data and maintain required aviation records

What We're Looking For

• Current commercial helicopter pilot license (rotorcraft category)
• Minimum 1,000 hours of rotorcraft flight time
• Medical transport or emergency services aviation experience preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and crew coordination skills
• Physical and medical certification meeting FAA requirements
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in time-critical situations

Compensation

Salary range: $102,072 – $112,280, including 15% geographic modifier. $15,000 sign-on bonus.
