Head Coach & Community Manager – Chelsea, NY

[solidcore] is hiring a full-time Head Coach & Community Manager for its Chelsea, Manhattan studio — a leadership role at the intersection of elite coaching, team development, and community building in New York City's boutique fitness scene.

About the Role

As Head Coach & Community Manager at [solidcore] Chelsea, you serve as the face of the studio. Reporting to the Area Manager, you lead both the coaching staff and the client experience — driving studio performance while cultivating the tight-knit community that sets [solidcore] apart. This is a hands-on, floor-level leadership position for someone who thrives in a high-energy fitness environment and is energized by developing people as much as by delivering exceptional classes.

What You'll Do

• Teach [solidcore] classes with consistency, energy, and technical precision that upholds brand standards
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop studio coaches to deliver a best-in-class client experience
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive studio community that drives member retention and loyalty
• Partner with the Area Manager to hit studio performance targets including class utilization and membership growth
• Oversee day-to-day studio operations and hold the team accountable to [solidcore]'s operational standards
• Engage authentically with clients before and after class to deepen relationships and gather feedback
• Support local marketing and community outreach efforts to grow the Chelsea studio's presence in Manhattan

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience coaching group fitness or high-intensity training in a boutique studio setting
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for building community and connecting with clients
• Current fitness certification (CPT or group fitness credential preferred)
• A self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
