This full-time, on-site Graduate Nurse / Staff Nurse position invites both new nursing graduates and seasoned Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver hands-on, patient-centered care on an adult med-surg unit in Norwich, NY. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, holistic nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical unit
- Protect, promote, and advocate for patient safety, dignity, and well-being throughout each shift
- Assess patient needs, deliver treatments, and monitor responses to care plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and the broader care team
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and continued wellness
- Uphold UHS standards of clinical excellence, community focus, and compassionate service
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse (GN) pending licensure in New York State
- Recent nursing graduates and experienced RNs are both encouraged to apply

- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and a commitment to safe, quality care
