About the Role
New Zealand Panels Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of decorative interior panel products used by the joinery industry. Based in East Tamaki, Auckland, we are seeking a Graduate Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of new products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, architects, and engineers
- Conduct research and analysis on materials and technologies
- Assist in the testing and validation of product prototypes
- Document project progress and maintain records
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a recent graduate with a strong background in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a passion for innovation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Familiarity with engineering principles and design practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
