What This Role Involves

The position of Freshman Boys' Basketball Coach at Pembroke High School is dedicated to fostering a positive and competitive environment for young athletes. Core Duties

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of freshman players
• Design and execute practice sessions that focus on skill development and team cohesion
• Provide individualized coaching and support to help players improve their performance
• Ensure adherence to MIAA coaching requirements and school policies
• Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and administration to enhance the overall basketball program

Requirements

• Previous college experience in basketball or related field is preferred but not required
• High school playing experience is advantageous
• MIAA coaching certification is mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young athletes and foster a positive team environment
