About the Role

As a Food Service Worker – Dietary at Conifer Health Solutions, you'll play a key role in our food service operation, ensuring patients receive meals prepared safely and served promptly. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient well-being through quality food service.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patient meal trays according to established dietary specifications and care requirements
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, peeling, and portioning
• Transport meal trays and food items to designated areas safely and efficiently
• Support retail food sales and catering operations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and service areas
• Follow all food handling and safety protocols consistently
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of food supplies
• Respond to requests from dietary and nursing staff to support patient care
• Complete assigned competencies during the introductory period
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding dietary requirements
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport items regularly
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and obtain necessary food handler certification
• Positive attitude and commitment to supporting patient care
• Ability to work as part of a larger food service and clinical team
