Field Sales Executive

Join Badger Daylighting as a Field Sales Executive based in Portsmouth. In this full-time, commission-based role, you'll develop business within an assigned territory and earn substantial income through closing sales.

About the Role

You'll manage a geographic territory that includes both loyal customers and untapped market potential. Your day revolves around face-to-face interactions with prospects and clients—learning what they need and demonstrating how our solutions solve their problems. Unlike inside sales, this position keeps you in the field where relationships are built and deals are made. Commission eligibility means your earning potential aligns directly with your performance.

What You'll Do

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned area
• Conduct in-person consultations and needs assessments with prospects and clients
• Develop and nurture long-term customer relationships
• Present and negotiate proposals that result in closed sales
• Document sales activity and manage your sales pipeline
• Work cross-functionally with our operations and delivery teams

What We're Looking For

• Track record of success in field sales, business development, or similar roles
• Self-directed with the drive and determination to reach and exceed targets
• Excellent communication abilities and strong negotiation skills
• Ability to manage your territory independently and take ownership of results
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle for frequent travel
• Comfort with spending the majority of your work time outside the office
