Interstate Waste Services is hiring a Class B Automated Side Load (ASL) Garbage Truck Driver for a full-time position based in Lawrence Township, Mercer County. This is an early-morning, Monday-through-Friday role with occasional weekend shifts, offering $28.80 per hour, ideal for an experienced driver ready to join a safety-focused waste management team.

About the Role

As a Class B ASL Garbage Truck Driver, you'll operate automated side-load refuse collection vehicles serving residential and commercial routes. You'll handle the daily operation of specialized waste collection equipment while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role is essential to keeping our service area clean and running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class B automated side-load garbage trucks on assigned collection routes
• Safely manage hydraulic lifting mechanisms and collection equipment
• Navigate residential and commercial areas with accuracy and reliability
• Maintain equipment in proper working condition and report mechanical issues
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations
• Begin your workday at 5:00 AM and complete scheduled routes efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Minimum 1 year of documented CDL experience operating automated side-load garbage trucks
• Strong driving record and commitment to safety
• Ability to work early morning hours starting at 5:00 AM
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
