FAMILY SERVICES SPECIALIST
About This Position

As a Family Services Specialist in Lake Sara, Illinois, you will assist families facing crises through DCFS programs such as Family Habilitation Services, Visitation, and Housing. Your role includes ensuring compliance with court-ordered program participation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist families in crisis situations to comply with court orders for family habilitation services, visitation, and housing.
- Work through difficult circumstances with clients to ensure they meet legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress reports.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience working with families in crisis situations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and legal authorities.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
